Hakka Shui Ban (Steamed Savoury Rice Cake)

I have bookmark  Hakka Shui Ban (Steamed Savoury Rice Cake) from Sonia blog till i 心血来潮 do it.


I used yellow tau kwa, minced pork and mushroom


The batter after steaming, i used baking tray to steam it and i have add in a bit of chinese sausage.

    oh, Hakka Shui Ban?? this is something so new to me, never heard of it and seen it before..

    looks something like "Chui Kui" but this Hakka version comes with taukwa, mushroom and minced meat as the topping..

  7. Looks good - serve with a sprinkling of fried dried prawns and rojak sauce like what they do in Penang with yam cakes - very nice.
