Ordinary weekend

8th Dec (Sat)

Early in the morning, ask my mum if she wants to go out and eat, was suggesting West Coast Market, she's ok, so we were there.

I had vegetarian bee hoon mee @ $3

Needed a foot reflexology badly, after done with the food reflexology, was at Bukit Timah Food Centre to chit chat with my friend whose running a business there.  Bought a packet of chwee kueh @ $2 back for my dinner.

9th Dec (Sun)

Went for church service.

After service, was at Redhill Market where I saw a stall selling lor mee which I never seen before.  Decide to try it out.  It so happen they run out of 三层肉 and I understand they are calling it a day after they finish all the ingredients.  Lor mee @ $4.

The usual weekend

27th Oct (Sat)

Has miss my Sat morning for two weeks, today manage to go for the exercise.

After the exercise, I was at the Food Centre in Clementi Centre.  Wanted to eat vegetarian bee hoon, there's queue.  Fried carrot cake, also queuing, end up having chwee kueh.

Chwee Kueh @ 3 for $1.50

As bringing my mum to the Senior Friendship Circle tomorrow, I went for the Saturday Hokkien Service.

After service, was at Redhill Food Centre for early dinner.  Had the signature mee sua @ $3.

28th Oct (Sun)

In the morning, told my mum, we go Zone 2 RC Senior Friendship Circle as I have register for her.  Bluff her, if she don't go, I have to pay $10.

Breakfast for the Seniors

After the SFC ends, was at the usual coffeeshop, order a bowl of sliced fish mee sua with 3 dumplings @ $5.30 to share.

Need to buy grocery, so went to the Community Hospital visiting a neighbourhood neighbour and then to the supermarket.  When I went to greet the elderly uncle in the next bed, although he did not talk, but he was smiling.

After visiting neighbourhood neighbour and buy grocery, time for me to drink coffee, a cup of mocha @ $5.

Weekend

20th Oct (Sat)

Two days back, while waiting for the transport with my mum, bump into a neighbourhood neighbour who mention that her hubby is in the Community Hospital, decided to visit neighbourhood neighbour hubby.

While there, neighbourhood neighbour mentions that the ward her hubby is in are all dementia patients.

It so happen the patient next to neighbourhood neighbour is an eighty plus Ah Gong.

The helper is there taking care of him.  Was saiding hello to Ah Gong and  was told that Ah Gong has not been talking for a period of time and he even couldn't recognize his sons.  Saddened to hear it.

After the visitation, my meal, nasi padang (chicken) @ $5.

Zone 3 RC Senior Friendship Circle is on every 3rd Sunday of the month.

Ask my mum if she wants to go, at first, she doesn't wants.  Sweet talk a bit and she said ok.  Lucky while there, she's in good mood and didn't throw tantrum.

Breakfast for the Seniors - nasi lemak

Decided to go church after bringing my mum back from the Senior Friendship Circle.  Was quite rushing and I was 15 minutes late for service.

After service, I was at Redhill Food Centre buying food back for my mum. As I was not very hungry, had durian chendol @ $3.

Vegetarian bee hoon mee @ Redhill Market

I hardly go to the wet market to do my marketing as usually I go to the supermarket.  There's a vegetarian stall at Redhill Food Centre which I quite like and it has been a while since I went there.  Beside, I quite like the market there as many stalls there.  So I decided to go there to do my marketing.

There's a vegetarian stall at the coffeeshop there and one at the Food Centre.  Usually, I had it at the Food Centre.  My vegetarian bee hoon mee @ $3.
