It all started when i saw from the Notice Board at the Void Deck of my house about the Standard First Aid & AED Awardeness Course , and i went to sign up for it last year. It so happen i bump into the RC Manager one of the Sunday morning and she mention to me about this Community Emergency Preparedness Program, at that time, i was rushing to go Church, so i told her i go to the RC to know more about it. Went to the RC to know more about it and sign up for it.
The course is on 2nd April at the Community Centre near my house, from 9am to 12noon.
What we were learning on that day
One of the items that we learned about Emergency and Non-Emergency Case, when and when not to call the ambulance.
Then there is staff from Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) who taught us CPR and the use of AED.
After that, we proceed to the basketball court where we learn how to put out fire using Fire Extinguisher.

Lunch were provided
Continue in the afternoon from 2pm to 4pm where the the trainer who is a retiree Senior Police Officer for 34 years were here to brief us on Signs of Terror Attacks, etc.
One of the item learn is what to do during Terror Attacks, after that, we broke into groups where different group were given different cases where we will list out the possible scenario on what to do based on the case we were given.
After that, it's end of course and i rush back to change and get ready for 5pm Zumba at Sunday @ the Parks.
