Manage to make a trip to Orchard Road before Christmas, before going Orchard Road, was at Tai Cheong having something to eat.

Had chicken pie @ $2.80

The ingredients inside : potato, button mushroom, chicken.  But I don't quite like the crust as find it too buttery.

Hot coffee @ $2.50

Total after GST is $5.65.

Tai Cheong Bakery @ Holland Village

Heard that Tai Cheong Bakery opens at Holland Village, but didn't check out that place till end December last year.

(1) Beside being an eatery place, they do have takeaway for pastries at one corner of the restaurant.

(2) The signboard

The Egg Tart @ $1.90 which i wanted to buy

(4) What i like about the Egg Tart is that it does not break easily as compare to some Egg Tart i ever bought.  And also the buttery crust.

(5)Only that i find that the Bo Luo Yao @ $2.20 is not cheap

Old Chang Kee @ Holland Village MRT Station

I was running some errand and then to Holland Drive Food Centre wanting to eat something that i had in mind, but the stall was closed, haiz...

Passed by the MRT Station and saw Curry Chicken in the Menu, was tempted to give it a try.

When i was served the Curry Chicken Set ($4.90), the presentation was not that great to me, at first, i was thinking, maybe so so only, but then, after eating it, not bad to me. The set came with some acar also.

Umi Sushi

After eating the Nasi Lemak, friend suggest going to eat salad, at first i was wondering where friend wanted to go, so i told friend, you walk where, i just follow.

After eating, we  proceed to friend office, actually there's still 3rd round, planning to go after friend office, but when friend called up, was told the place closed at 9pm (if i didn't remember wrongly, and also they have a wedding reception at that time), so we will postpone till to another day.  We went on our separate way after friend office.

On Sunday, I was suppose to meet my friend to visit another friend elderly mother, then go my friend office to help my friend clear some of her backlog.  Then the other friend tell my friend no need to go visit the mother.  Arrange to meet friend at 4pm, i left my house earlier at around 3pm, to have ample time to travel and also i do not like to be late.  I whatsapp my friend, then my friend reply can it be 4.30pm as she want to go gym before meeting me, reply that i left the house already, and we arrange to meet at Ulu Pandan CC there where my friend went for gym for 1/2 hour, and i walk around and have a drink.

After meeting with my friend, my friend said want to go Holland Village to collect something and to eat nasi lemak. 

(1) This is the nasi lemak  that my friend is referring to

(2) They use a ipad for customers to order the foods

 

(3) Had the chicken wing set ($3.30, if i am not wrong, as it's a treat from my friend for the last minute change in plan), in which we find the food so so only.
