Chingay at Tanjong Pagar GRC & Radin Mas SMC (9th Feb 2014)

Every year, there's a Chingay Parade going on during the Chinese New Year period.  This year, my friend has asked me to participate in the Chingay Parade, but i did not as it's during Chinese New Year period and also before the actual parade, there will be rehearsal and i have to commit to it if i agreed. So i didn't agree as worry might be busy with CNY things.

So since there's a Chingay at Tanjong Pagar GRC and Radin Mas SMC, made a trip there.  Below are pictures taken there.

Tao Kwa Pau

Goggle and found that the Tao Kwa Pau that i have been craving for has shift from a coffeeshop in Upper East Coast to this Peranakan Village Food Centre at Tanjong Katong.

Fried Nian Gao

I bought this Nian Gao before Chinese New Year at S$4.30

It has been in the fridge and i feel like eating it, so cut half of the Nian Gao in pieces as above.

Thaipusam (17th Jan 2014)

Thaipusam is not a declared Public Holiday in Singapore.  It so happen on Thaipusam day, i was on half-day leave to settle some matter, and also went down to take a look at the Thaipusam procession in Little India area.

Dinner with Cell Group (7th Feb 2014)

Cell members gathering during Chinese New Year and we had dinner at a coffeeshop in Clementi.
