The Day Care Centre is close on Christmas eve, but I need to work.  The only thing is that I do not need to rush back.  

Was at the eatery place near my workplace for my early lunch.  Had medium prawn thick bee hoon @ $4.

25th Dec (Tue)


Christmas day, but I need to work.  After work, I was at Isetan Westgate supermarket looking at  the bento set.

There a eatery place at the building where I work selling sushi, but I have not patron the store before.  This round, I stop by to take a look.

It  can be stressful when I was ask to extend due to waiting for colleague to come for work or after they come back from break as I need to watch the time and rush back before the transport brings my mum back.

My mixed rice @ $3.40 from Jurong East Interchange where I had curry chicken, tofu and steamed egg.

I was planning to have fishball noodle when I saw laksa, quite sometimes didn't eat it already, so order a bowl @ $5 from the eatery place at basement 2 of Westgate.

But in the end, maybe due to indigestion, vomited out what I eat at night.

Had mixed rice.

My mixed rice which had vegetable, steamed egg and sweet and sour pork @ $3.40. 

21st Dec (Fri)

Some issues with my mum which I had to bring her to the doctor.  After everything is settle, bring her to the Day Care Centre.  After seeing that she has taken her lunch during lunch time.  I make my way to Jurong West 500+ there to have my lunch and also to buy things.

Had sliced fish porridge with egg @ $3.50

Bought 2 popiah @ $1.60 each home

Pass by a bakery shop and can't resist the temptation, bought 100g of CNY goodies @ $3.

Was back at the eatery place in Westgate having wanton noodle.

My mum has a medical appointment in the morning.  After the medical appointment, bring her to the Day Care Centre.  And then I had an appointment with the staff from the Head Office doing a 1/2 hour survey on Caregiver.  After the survey, time for me to go for lunch.

Since I do not have much time to roam to other place.  Went to the nearby coffeeshop where I had mutton briyani since I was craving for it.

Feel like having duck rice,  after work, was at a coffeeshop in Jurong East satisfying my craving.

Was not feeling good, not much appetite.

Lazy to cook dinner and also don't know what to eat, so eat burger.

6th Nov (Tue)

Today is a Public Holiday, I need to work, as I'm in the food industry. Told my mum that I will buy dinner for her after I knock off.

When I was back home, the first thing my mum told me was she has soil herself and ask me to help her wash her buttock.

7th Nov (Wed)

Again colleague didn't turn up for work.  If no student turn up for work, afternoon shift will be left manager and one Malay colleague working.

8th Nov (Thur)

The colleague who keeps absent from work, his service was terminated by the Manager.  Now no need to guess if he will or will not turn up for work.

Saw cold soba from the supermarket, feel like eating it, so bought a packet to cook.  My cold soba with meatball and hard boiled egg.

Brought back a 9 pc nuggets from my workplace to share with my mum.  Fee : meal provided.

9th Nov (Fri)

With the current situation of no crew, I had the opportunity to extend my hour, usually I stays around 1/2 hr to 1 hr.  But too bad, I had to go back as I need to wait for the transport to bring my mum back from the Day Care Centre, if not, I can work longer hours.

Again, it's burger time, my own creation.  Tendergrill chicken with ham, cheese and bacon.

Halloween decorations @ Westgate

Usually I will stop at Jurong East Station to catch the bus back home.  Westgate is the shopping centre that is link to the MRT Station.

It so happen I saw some Halloween decorations there, so took picture of it.

Same old rountie

15th Oct (Mon)

Bought a batang steak from one of the fishmonger in Redhill market yesterday.  This is my first time buying from this lady fishmonger as previously when I was there, I bought from another stall.  That stall was crowded,  so I bought from this stall.  Should be my 1st and last time as her attitude piss me off.

While on my way home, bought a banana leaf prawn otah @ $1.70 as I was craving for otah.

Bump into Mr and Mrs Choo helper at my neighbourhood.  Ask whether Mrs Choo had been discharge from hospital.  Was told she's still in hospital.

Causally ask the helper how long she has been in the hospital, the helper reply was 4 months. 

16th Oct (Tue)

Now that the timing of the transport picking up my mum is earlier, I can take a bit of sweet time to get to work.

Thought that I will go for a cup of kopi @ $1.40.

Also a chicken curry puff @ $1.40

When I reach my workplace, I got a shock.  My manager is on mc and big boss is here to cover her. 

17th Oct (Wed)

I was nearby my manager workstation when she was counting the earning for the shift.  It so happen short of $7 and she has to cough out the $7.

After I knock off, since I pass by Jurong East on the way back, want to Springleaf Prata have my quick early dinner before going back to wait for the transport bringing my mum's back.

Had a plain prata ($1.30) and egg prata ($2.30).

My chin chye cook dinner with whatever i have in the fridge.

Have wanted to cook rice, but I add in too much water, so become like porridge.  Ingredients : fishcake, dry oyster, chinese sausage.

19th Oct (Fri)

Recently, I did not knock off on the spot, but around 20 minutes later.

I don't have the luxury time to sit down and eat as I have to be back before the stated time when they send my mum's back, so tabao food back home.

A brand new week

I was thinking whether to eat burger anot, when...

I saw a colleague taking nuggets with cheese sauce.  Usually, I take nuggets with curry sauce, but never try with curry sauce before, so I thought I will try out nuggets with cheese sauce.

21st Aug (Tue)

As usual, Tuesday is Bible Study Fellowship day.

Was thinking whether to go for Bible Study anot as I was tired and also lazy.  In the end, I went.  I had grilled chicken burger with mushroom ssuce.

A cup of coffee @$2 to keeps me awake before going for Bible Study Fellowship.

22nd Aug (Wed)

It's Hari Raya Haji, but I need to work as i'm in the food industry, it's open for business.

After I knock off, went to Westgate Isetan supermarket to buy bento set for my mum and I dinner.

After the spending yesterday, today must save money liao.

The Original Cake

When Original Cake opens in Westgate, there was a queue, if there is a queue, and if u ask me whether will I be willing to queue for it.  No thank you.

Now that there is no queue, I thought I will get one to try out.

There are two types, original and cheese.  Got the original one @ $10.  It so happen there's a guy behind me, heard him asking which is more popular, the staff reply him, cheese.

I actually ask the staff to cut into half for me as I thought of sharing half with my neighbour, but was told I have to do it myself, they do provide a plastic knife.  If I didn't share with my neighbour, the whole cake will be finish in no time.  That means, I have to work extra hard to go workout.

There's another Ah Ma traditional cake which I have yet to try as I saw queue the other time I pass by Ah Ma traditional cake.
