Grilled Chicken Chop @ Bukit Timah Food Centre

My friend runs a business in Bukit Timah Food Centre.  On the right unit, is the fish soup.  Opposite is laksa.  The other time I was at Bukit Timah Food Centre finding friend.  Saw the laksa stall, the boss and her daughter having the Western Food.  It looks good, so I thought I will come another round try it out.

The laksa stall, the boss used to have an assistant, but didn't see the assistant, so ask friend, was told the assistant has resign, the girl helping out is his daughter.

Was back at Bukit Timah Food Centre to try out Peter Pan Western Food.  Had the grilled chicken at $6.  It comes with potato wedge, coleslaw, baked beans.  At first, I thought the portion was a bit big, maybe it's late meal for me and I was hungry at that time, so I finish the whole plate.

This round, I didn't see the fish soup assistant.  Ask friend, was told she went for holiday.  As ever heard friend mention juicy story about the laksa stall assistant and the fish soup stall assistant, I was telling friend, I thought the laksa assistant resign, the fish soup assistant also follow suit and resign.

Lao Jiang Superior Soup

Suppose to meet my friend to go church on previous Sunday morning, then go gym, then to friend office to help friend out, but then on Sunday morning, friend called up to said not feeling well, so we didn't go church and gym, but went to friend office to help out.

(1) It's dinner time by the time we left, at first we was thinking of porridge at Cheong Chin Nam Road which is near friend office, but as we were walking along the stretch of building selling foods, we saw Lao Jiang Superior Soup, we change our mind and went in to try it out.

(2) I had the Lao Jiang Superior Soup @ $8.80 (Hope i didn't get the name wrong as the recipe is with my friend).  Inside the soup, there is 2 prawns, 3 meat ball, lean meat, minced meat, sliced fish, fish maw, 2 sliced of abalone.  I only took picture of my food as i do not want to take up the time for my friend to wait for me first before my friend tuck in the food my friend ordered.

(3) Tofu with minced pork and mushroom $6.80 (Had to have a quick snap of the dish as from the picture, my friend chopstick is into the dish when it's being served).

(4) Herbal Jelly @  $2.00

Penang Curry White Mee

My friend, who's in the food business, came out with a new item - Penang Curry White Mee not long ago.  Went on the Hari Raya Haji Public Holiday to try it out.  Haze was very bad that day that, can only go out makan and then stay indoor.  On that night, it was announced that Primary and Secondary School students do have not to go school on the following Friday as the reading was above 300 PSI.
