Makko Teck Neo

I was craving for Dry Mee Siam when i thought of this place in Telok Blangah Rise that sells it, so went with my mum there to satisfy my craving.

(1) Buses that goes there

(2) It's situated at the end of  this block, that Saturday, the weather not so good, drizzling.

(3) The place i wanted to go

(4) We ordered a Dry Mee Siam @ $5.80, if i didn't remember wrongly, the price used to be $5.30.

(5) And a Nasi Lemak @ $5.80, (we share share the food), it comes with a chicken wing, egg with onion, ikan bills, chilli, and a piece of cucumer, the chicken wing, i find so so only, only that i like the rice, as the rice they used is the long grain rice, which is used to cook briyani.

(6) Coffee @ $1.50

  3. I find the apartments and HDB flats in Singapore are well built with food courts below or next to them. Usually very crowded and the food are always appetizing & good.

  4. I same as TM, wondering if there is really wet mee siam. I am suspecting as much already, last time I had mee siam in US, the chef is a Johorean. Her mee siam was wet too. Maybe southern style mee siam is wet? The ones we used to in KL, Penang are dry.

  8. The dry mee siam also has a bit of gravy leh? Is this the nyonya mee siam? I love that! The ones they call mee siam in KL is really dry - like fried bihun with tom yam sauce, not as nice as the nyonya ones...or not to me, at least.
