Singapore Quarry

Actually, the plan was to walk to another Park, but saw the sign there stating Singapore Quarry, have not been to Singapore Quarry, so decided to walk there.


(1) The walking path


(2) On the right, is Salvation Army building


(3) Saw staircase, decided to walk up and see what's up there


(4) Private housing estate


(5) This bring back memories, i used to like to sit on this when i was a kid


(6) Walk further up


(7) View i saw


(8) Didn't walk the path further as  guess it could be more private estates


(8) Then saw another path, thought want to walk and see the route


(9) Greenery


(10) Was put off by this muddy mud


(11) Reached Singapore Quarry, should be around half-an-hour, as didn't really take note of the timing.


(12) There's a rest place, taken from a side as there's people inside

    1. One of my friend went to join those China walkers for walks, ever ask me if i wanted to join them, but heard my friend mention they walk very fast, so i didn't join, as i walk, stop, take pictures, sure can't catch up with them...

  2. When i was a kid, we dont sit on the swing. We stand at the middle. Then swimg left n right without holding to anything. Whoever fall first lose

  7. Singapore is so beautiful, neat and clean. I love your island. Today my uncle drove me to the Upper Pierce Reservoir nearby his place at AMK. So nice greens with many monkeys!

  8. I think I have visited this quarry area many years ago. I think it is nearby Bukit Timah where they have nice cafes for coffee.

    Hey, I followed your style to walk very far and snap photos too! I walked from City Hall all the way to Plaza Singapura!! It was so damn hot but I enjoyed the sights.

  10. It is exciting to walk this way, taking the scenery in and snapping photos. Often we forget to 'stop and smell the roses' but you are always reminding me we should when you share your walks with us.
