Year 2014

How times flies, today is already the 9th of Jan. A record of some events that has taken place during the year 2014.

It's saddening and shock to me when i receive news in the month of April that my Aunty passed away due to cancer at the age of 54, till now i still miss her.

This year, during May, i started my Zumba class as i have heard a lot about it and have wanted to sign up.

Had a gathering with my Primary School schoolmate whom we have not metup for a long time.

Made a trip a Kluang to meetup with a blogger friend from Banting who is in Kluang to celebrate her mother-in-law birthday for the 1st time.

My Zumba Instructor has been selected to be part of the Wushu Chingay which is taking place this year during Chinese New Year period and has been looking around for volunteers. At first, i was hesitated as i'm afraid that i'm not committed to it and also will i make the wrong move due to nervous. My Zumba kaki keeps telling me it's fun as she has take part in it before and keeps persuade me to sign up for it. So next year Chingay will be my first time taking part in Chingay.

Under the invitation of my friend, i went to visit the cell group and since i have attending it for the past 1 month plus.

Game corner, the guy saw me taking picture told the lady that i'm taking picture.

Had a hard time taking picture of this mascot as it's quite active, walking about and many kids running to it to take picture with it.

Saw Minions in the later part of the night, wanted to take picture with the two mascots, but the "escort" said mascots taking a break, so didn't mange to take picture with them.

Nasi Lemak

I was in the vicinity of Boon Lay, so decided to eat this stall Nasi Lemak. The queue in front is not long when i was there, but there's a guy in front who bought at least 10 packets which makes the waiting time longer.

I have wanted the chicken wing set but when it's my turn, the chicken wing was sold out and the new batch is in the wok, so i have choose the fish fillet set which cost $3.

Lunch

I was meeting Ching last Sat, we could not think of where to go, so Ching suggested go to her house where she will prepare lunch.

What i want to highlight is this bowl of Red Wine Residue Chicken Mee Sua. This is the best Red Wine Residue Chicken Mee Sua i had eaten.

Firstly, the Red Wine Residue is homemade by her mum who is in Sitiawan and bought back to Singapore when she went back her hometown.

Secondly, the mee sua is also from her hometown, no wonder the first taste of it, i find that it's so nice, better than those that i bought from the supermarket.

Thirdly, i heard that the chicken is kampong chicken.

Cellgroup Christmas Gathering 2014 (21st Dec 2014)

Had a Christmas gathering with my cellgroup and the theme of it is I be back for Christmas (IBCFC), my cellgroup leader has also invited some of her friends over for the gathering.

Picture taken from whatapps group chat as the picture was taken by someone else, mine turn out blur. They are using it to narrate the story of Jesus Christ.

Foods that is served, i didn't take individual as nobody is taking picture of the foods and i feel paiseh if i were to take pictures of it.

Everyone was given a present by my female cellgroup leader, and everyone was mentioning that the present was nicely wrap, she mention that she just buy the items and then pass it to a friend who is good at wrapping gifts and the friend wrap up all the present.

I could not not bear to throw away the wrapping paper, so i cut open the bottom of the wrapping paper and took out the gifts and will keep the nice nice wrapping paper.

Orchard Road on Christmas Day (25th Dec 2014)

As usual, went to Orchard Road on Christmas Day. Went after Christmas Church Service.

Chistmas Day also makes me think of few years back, when i was there, after coming out from the MRT station. Friends and i were mentioning about switching our handphone to the highest ringing tone, just in case we lost each other, we can contact each other. After walking for sometimes, we decided to go to a foodcourt nearby to have a drink where i realise my handphone was missing. My friend called back my handphone number but it was switch off. Must be pickpocket. After which i didn't go at night to avoid crowds.
