Swiss Bake (10th Jan)

My cousin wedding was on 10th January. Solemnization Ceremony starts at 6pm.  As i am not familiar with the place, my mum suggested leave the house early to go find the place.

(1) I have inform my mum earlier that Solemnization Ceremony starts at 6pm, and dinner will be served at 7.30pm as stated in the invitation card.  Think my mum forgotten about it and she thought that dinner starts at 6pm.  Since we reached early and saw this place, i ask her if she wants to have something first just in case she's hungry before the dinner starts.

(2) Saw this board about the Daily Tea Set

(3) Muffin @ $3.20

(4) Coffee @ $4.90

Daily Tea Set for muffin set is $6.90, i only drank a bit of the coffee, the rest of the coffee and the muffin, my mum had it.

(5) Free flow of ice water for the customers to help themselves

  1. Nice looking muffin. Hope people there are not like the ones in KL. Invitation card says 7, don't expect everyone to arrive before 9, and dinner will not be served till then. They should call it wedding supper instead.

Everyone blames the jam, lame excuse - just a matter of bad habit. Knowing there will be a jam, they should go real early then...or if they cannot, RSVP with regrets. So rude to keep everyone waiting, really. They should just start on the dot - latecomers can have the leftovers...when they show up at 9. Do it a few times, they will never be late again.

    1. So far, the guests that day, are punctual, and the dinner starts at 7.45pm...

If it's me, i prefer to be punctual, if i know there's a jam or i am not familiar or the place quite a distance, i will leave early in order not to be late.

  3. Does wedding dinner start on time in Singapore? Here, if specify 7PM, people take it as "leave home at 7PM" >.<
