It has been ages since i went to school since leaving school after my study. The last visit to the school was during the election, but that was a brief one as one has to leave immediate after casting our vote.
My friend is buying textbook for her kid new term next year and i tag along.
(1) Nowadays, school are quite strict, they have security whereby visitors or parents wishing to enter the school premises, have to report to the security first, unlike my time where they are not so strict.
(3) School building
(4) Friend in the midst of buying textbooks and stationery
(5) Canteen, as now is school holiday, so the stall are closed
(6) School building
(7) Papaya tree
(8) Cactus
(9) Cactus
(10) Pond, but i did not see any fish inside
Seeing them buy the textbooks reminds me of my school days buying textbooks also, that time buying textbooks is an exciting event for me cos I always like to study and I always very "kan cheong" will read the books even before the school starts.

DeleteThanks for the feedback...
DeleteNot many people there to buy the books?
ReplyDeleteCan buy on other days also, so that day when i went with my friend, not many people...
Deleteso "the school" you mean is actually "your school"?? I have not gone back to mine for ages already too.. that school looks nice, clean and nicely landscaped..
ReplyDeleteNope, not my school, hehe... My friend kid school... My primary school no longer in the usual place, have merge with another school and another location already...
Deleteso modern the school there. Sigh...ours still pretty old
ReplyDeleteWonder how 'pretty old' is it as never been to a school in Malaysia...
DeleteSigh... I have not even been back to my own school since graduating from high school. Nowadays, even as alumnus, we are not allowed to enter the school premises. We need to write in and get the permission letter upfront, so we rarely bother.
ReplyDeleteSame here, i also didn't go back to my own school since graduating...
DeleteYa nowadays not so safe anymore and schools have very tight security. So that's why when I go back hometown, no chance to revisit my old school.
ReplyDeleteNow not as long time ago when i was still in school...
DeleteGood Afternoon Queen of Zumba!

ReplyDeleteOver here, it would be after Christmas. Reporting, paying fees. Usually they only give textbooks to students when schools reopen.
I love this school garden. Well maintained and neat.
So far, my friend kid didn't report to the school, only 4th of Jan, then report to school...
DeleteBut as for the textbooks, my friend didn't manage to get all as some were out of stock and has to go back again to buy it...
Back to school!
