Matcha & Red Bean Butter Cake

Trying out of Matcha & Red Bean Butter Cake, recipe taken from Happy Home Baking blog, i used half of the recipe to do it and replace the cake flour with self-raising flour and omit the baking powder as i run out of cake flour. To my disappointed, the colour did not turn out to be what i wanted as it's very dark.
