Bad Luck (3)

After the visit to Ben Foods (S) Pte Ltd at Fishery Port Road, my itchy leg decided to do some walking, where i thought i will racky the surrounding of Jurong Island Checkpoint which is not very far, but also some distance away from from Fishery Port Road.

After reaching there, i was only outside, i was not allow to enter the checkpoint and into Jurong Island as i do not have pass and also no reason for me to enter Jurong Island, i just wanna figure out how the Jurong Island Checkpoint is like. 

I saw the No Photography sign, but i mistaken it to be No Photography inside Jurong Island, so i took out my handphone and took a picture and also the signboard indicating Jurong Island Checkpoint, then i start walking towards the bus stop wanting to wait for the bus to take me home,  where i was stopped by the Auxiliary Police and that he said he saw me taking photos and ask for my handphone and also my Identity Card.  He then ask me why am i there and that i am a Singaporean, i should know that no taking of photos is allow at checkpoint area.  I then told him, i only racky the place and ask if i could just deleted off the photos that i took.  He answer no and then said have to wait for his boss.  In a while, his boss came out, and told me that for my case, can be charged and put behind bars or be fine.  And also police and Criminal Investigation Department case, where they will take my statements and also they will find out the background of my family. I was worried and scare at that time, and pray to God that hope that they will not called in the police.  The boss took down my particulars and also in front of the Boss and the Auxiliary Police, they ask me to delete the photos and i did so in front of them.  And then they ask me to wait for the bus and they waited for me to board the bus before they left.

Thank God that everything is all right.

Seeking Opinion

I was queuing to buy coffee yesterday, when an auntie came and queue behind me, she was standing very close to me.  I was rather uncomfortable as when a stranger stands too close to me.  So i turn back to look at her, but she was looking at other direction and didn't notice me looking at her.  Then the queue (lucky in front of me only 2 customers) move and she still stands so close to me after i shift a bit in front, i turn back again, this round, she saw me looking at her and i told her, not so close, not so close, and her reply was sorry sorry. 

A question to ask, when queuing to buy things, will you stand very close to the person in front of you or will you leave some spaces in between?

Surrounding of Sentosa

On the 2nd day to meetup with K, K was telling me that her friend is meeting her at 1pm.  We arrange to meet in the morning.

(1) I used the Sentosa Broadwalk and walk to Sentosa while K and her daughter took cable car there.

(2) While waiting for reply from K the exact location to meet, i walk around, took the above picture which is outside Trick Eye Museum.

(3) We arrange to meet at the cable car station, while looking out for her, saw the above panda and took picture of it.

(4) Since K is bringing her daughter to S.E.A. Aquarium, i am not so keen in it, so i decided to walk around outside and take picture and i told K to give me a call when she's out.

(10) As i am not sure how long will K be inside the S.E.A. Aquarium, i did not venture far and decided to go for a cup of coffee.

I took out a $2 note as i only wanted to order a cup of coffee which i usually had at $1.80, then the cashier told me, $2.50, i told the cashier, i drink from other outlets, it's cheaper, she reply me, yes, here is more expensive as they only have big cup, other outlets, they have small cup.

Then i receive a message from K that the feeding time is 3pm, ask me if it will be too late for me, reply her that i am ok, will go walk walk.  I decided to venture further since i have ample time.

(21) After K come out, i was asking her, where's her friend as no sight of her friend, she mention her friend coming from JB, she thought her friend meeting her at 1pm, but it's 1pm that her friend is leaving her friend place at JB.  Went for lunch, i had wanton mee @ $6.50.

After sometimes, i ask K again, where's her friend as still no sight of her friend, she called her friend and was told that her friend hubby forgot to bring out passport and has to go back to bring passport, and that they are not driving, they are taking bus out, and there's long Q.

We departs in the evening, i did not send K and her daughter off in the airport the next day.

(1) Ben Foods (S) Pte Ltd in Fishery Port Road is actually not very far from my place.  I didn't know about this place that's selling foods product till recently.

(2) Called up the company to check on their opening hours, was told, they opens to the public on Wed - Fri from 3pm to 5pm and on Sat from 10am to 12pm.

(3) Paiseh to take picture of the place as there are people around, only mange to take picture of the wine and condiments area.

(4) Didn't buy much as there's still stuff inside my fridge and also i don't cook very often.  Bought a packet of milk @ $2.50, French Garlic Bread @ $1.60 (never tried this brand before, so not sure how's the taste), and a packet of biscuit @$1.50.  As the price is before GST, so after adding 7% GST, total i paid is $5.95.

Bad Luck (2)

I realised that i forgotten my Singpass password when i need to use my Singpass, and i went to the Community Centre near my place wanting to reset my Singpass password and also thinking that any Community Centre will be able to do it, but was told, the nearest place i could get my Singpass password reset is at West Coast Community Centre, and  only during office hours, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 5.30pm , or Central Provident Fund Board at Jurong East, which can be done during Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, Saturday, 8am to 1pm. Lucky mine is not any urgent case, if not, charm liao.

I went to the Central Provident Fund Board wanting to reset my Singpass password, they have a counter specially for Singpass transaction.  The queue is not long, but haiz, the couple at the counter is long winded which makes the waiting time longer.  But i did manage to reset my Singpass password.

Jurong Central, Let's Walk! In Conjunction with National Day Celebration Observance Ceremony (9th Aug)

(1) I got to know about this event, as one of the Instructor where i go for Zumba workout will be there for the Zumba at the above event.  Since she will be there, of course, must go support support.  Ticket is at $1 each with foods provided, but i didn't manage to take picture of it.  Also there is Lucky Draw, but as usual, not lucky at all.

(2) The event started off with a warm up for the walk, the walk is from Blk 312/316 Jurong East St. 32 Community Plaza to Jurong Green Community Centre.

(5) After reaching Jurong Green Community Centre, we were lead to sing some National Day songs, before 45 minutes Zumba starts at 9am.

(6) At around 10am, Adviser for Jurong GRC Mr Ang arrived, gave a speech, we sang the National Anthem, say the Singapore pledge, then there's is a cutting of cake.

Then, it's lucky draw time, foods time, before Home Sweet Home.

Random Post

(1) Usually, the workout at Marina Bay is only on Monday, but last week, 1st Aug to 6th Aug, total of 6 days, there are workout there, due to the GetActive! by the Bay event from 30th July to 7th Aug.  Each participants is entitle to a GetActive! Singapore Packs which as above consist of a towel, Strawberry Lava Cake, Orange Flavoured Cream Biscuit, Apollo Chocolate Stick Wafer, a packet of Milo.  I went for the workout on Monday taking for granted that the workout as usual will start at 6.45pm.  I reached there around 6.25pm and saw that quite a number of people is there already and in a while, the instructor went on stage and starts the workout.  I was thinking, how come, the workout starts early today.  Only to realise later that the workout for that week is from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

(2) While on the way back, i was stopped by a lady asking me to hi-5 on the "hand" in the truck there, and i got myself a paper clip as above.
