Soy Sauce Prawn

Prawns is of my favourites, when i saw Sonia King of Soy Sauce Prawn, i was so tempted to do it that i went to the supermarket to buy 12 prawns which weigh about 240g and cook it.

蛋黄Sotong

The other time, i cook the 蛋黄鸡, Vincent was mentioning that 蛋黄 Sotong also not bad, 蛋黄 crab, i eat before, but not 蛋黄 sotong, so i went to the supermarket to buy sotong and cook this dish.

Orange Chiffon Cake

This round, i try out making Orange Chiffon Cake, what i not satisfied is that certain part on the top of the cake is burnt. Maybe during when the batter is inside the oven, i was busy sms that i did not check on the cake and cover the top with aluminum foil.

I satisfied this round as it's quite soft. Actually i wanted to make Pandan Chiffon Cake as i like Pandan flavour but i'm lazy to squeeze out coconut milk.

Wheat Baumkuchen

Read about this Wheat Baumkuchen from the newspaper and was there to try it out.

Saw a getai kaki upload a picture of this 3-in-1 coffee in facebook and was chatting with him about it and that he mention that this kopi is very nice, and i told him that i must try it out if i happen to see it in the supermarket (he mention that not all supermarket sell it). Went to xx supermarket to search for it, but i couldn't find it, so i told him i went to xx supermarket, but i could not find it. He reply me that this kopi only sell at xx supermarket and it so happen that i was going to watch getai one of the sunday, and he said that he wanted to help me buy and bring it over to me. I was quite pai seh also as he stays quite far away but he said his friend is driving him there.

Fried Bee Hoon

Have a craving for bee hoon, and normally saw those bee hoon selling outside is oily, so i thought i just 随意煮, took whatever i have in the fridge and put it in and there it goes, my fried bee boon.

Fried Chicken Ball

The other day at the supermarket, i bought 100g of minced meat which i make wanton, i also bought 100g of minced chicken meat and i was thinking of what to do to it when i think of the Fried Meat Ball from OhBin blog and used the minced chicken meat to make it. As i do not have carrot but some prawns at home, so i add in prawns instead of carrot.

I sudden have the craving of eating Abacus Beads and went to the web to search for recipe and found this recipe and did it.

Coffee Chiffon Cake

I was thinking of putting my chiffon cake mould away, but i 心痒痒, thought of trying it out again, so i thought this round, i will try out the Coffee Chiffon Cake from Aunty Yochana blog. But i did not add kahlua.

But the result is almost the same as the chocolate chiffon cake, not tall enough.

Feel like eating wanton, so bought 100g of meat from the supermarket, add in prawns and water chestnut.

Chocolate Chiffon Cake

I have been trying to bake chiffon cake, but so far have no fate with it, recently my mixer broke down and i bought a new one, so i thought i will try it again. When it was in the oven and still baking, i saw that it rises up, i was so happy, i thought that i have success, but when comes out of the oven, it has sink. Looks like my mould is going to be kept away and collect dust again.

黑芝麻核桃牛油蛋糕

The other time i did the 黑芝麻核桃牛油蛋糕, i use 黑芝麻 instead of 黑芝麻粉， this round i use 黑芝麻粉, but the 核桃 sink inside the cake.

This is the 2nd time that i try out the 泰式酱鸡 from Ching blog. The 1st time i cook it, i poured out too much chilli sauce, 见不得光, so didn't take picture of it. Although mine might not look tempted, but it is yummy yummy.
