My mum has a blood test appointment at the polyclinic in the morning.  After done with the blood test, ask my mum where she wants to go for her lunch, her reply is Jurong West st. 42 

My mum fish soup from her usual fish soup stall @ $5.

Rice @ $0.50

I had minced meat fishball kway teow mee @ $3.

The chilli sauce for my mum's fish soup, but she doesn't wants it, so I use it for my fishball kway teow mee.

My mum second round - chee cheong fun @ $1.40.

Pass by a bakery shop while on the way back after finding a friend in the afternoon, saw a piglet, tempted to buy, $2 per piece with pineapple filling.

9th Sept (Sun)

As usual, workout in the morning, then to church for the 2nd service, english service.

Drop by a relative place after the service ends.

Chwee Kueh

Was at a relative house, before going back, was thinking either going Beo Crescent or Tiong Bahru for dinner.  End up at Tiong Bahru Food Centre.

Was walking one round and undecided what to eat as not all stalls are opened.  Saw a stall selling Chwee Kueh, Chee Cheong Fun, went over to ask if could mixed Chwee Kueh and Chee Cheong Fun.  Was told either it's Chwee Kueh or Chee Cheong Fun, no mixing, so i can only decided on one.  End up having Chwee Kueh, 5 @ $2.50.

Joo Chiat Beef King @ Tiong Bahru Food Centre

My Ah Kim (Mum younger brother wife) was not feeling well, pay her a visit and decided to visit the recently open Food Centre after renovation and also to buy fruit at the market after visiting her.

Walk one round and end up having Beef Ball Kway Teow.

Beef Ball Kway Teow @ $3.50 which I find nothing to shout about.

Tiong Bahru Lee Hong Kee Cantonese Roasted

I made an unexpected trip to my Uncle's (My mum younger brother) place last Saturday afternoon, as his wife has been over the phone with me discussing about my mum's Medical Report, so I thought I will make a trip there, bring the Medical Report over to show them which will be easier than talking about it over the phone. My uncle opened the door, and from the look on his face, guess he must be thinking something happen to my mum, no lah, only an unexpected trip.

(1) After the trip to my Uncle's place, went over to Tiong Bahru Food Centre to have my early dinner, heard about the above stall from my friend, so decided to try it out.  Wanted to try Roasted Chicken, but see that they didn't hang it out, must be finish liao. And I don't feel like eating Roasted Duck that day, so ordered Wanton Noodle.  It so happen as I was standing right in front of the stall, saw they still have Roasted Chicken in the tray, too bad can't cancel my order already.

(2) Wanton Noodle @ $3.50 which comes with char siew, vegetable, 3 wanton, in which I like the char siew, overall, the Wanton Noodle, not bad.

(3) Comes with a bowl of soup

Tiong Bahru Galicier Pastry

(1) I happen to pass by this shop selling kuehs and when i went to Tiong Bahru to makan and saw many people inside the shop, so of course must go in and take a look.

(2) Many varieties of kuehs on sales

潮州糜

(1) 平时都是吃饭较多，也有段时间没吃糜了，刚好星期天，晨运后，找吃时，看到这间卖糜的店，就叫来吃。

（2）白糜， 因有段时间没吃糜了，吃着吃着感觉还不错

（3）梅菜

（4）番茄炒蛋

（5) 鱼

以上的食物还有一盘饭， 八元。。。

The Orange Thimble

I was a bit moody on Sunday morning when i went to WCP for my workout, i didn't go WCP for quite sometimes liao and find that now it seem that getting more and more people joining in the workout.  And i was standing in the middle row and the view of the instructor was kind of blocked and can't see clearly.  And also since many people, can't really spread out and i have to limit my movement.

(1) I have wanted to try out this place, The Orange Thimble, for quite sometimes, and i understand they have a hazelnut dacquoise which i understand is nice, but to my disappointment, they do not have it when i was there.

(2) The decoration on the table

(3) After ordering the foods, was given the above, when the order is ready, it will light-up and collect the foods from the counter.

(4) Foccacia with Smoked Salmon @ $10.90

(5) I'm a coffee lover, so ordered Latte @ $4.50
