As usual, on the first day of Chinese New Year, the Lim's family will gather at my late father eldest brother house for lunch. Every year, my Uncle will cater foods, understand that this round, the Catering is Stamford (www.stamfordcs.com.sg).
(1) Mandarin Oranges
(2) Rice, not too sure what rice as i didn't eat the rice
(3) On the left is mushroom with vegetable, on the right is Salted Egg Prawn which is nice, i like it.
(4) Scallop with tofu below, the scallop is quite popular and finish in no time.
(5) Roasted Chicken
(6) Duck
(7) Mee, which i like, so i eat more of this and didn't eat the rice
(8) Mushroom on the left, fish on the right
(9) Dessert
(10) Braised pig intestine
(11) And not forgetting, Lo Hei

(14) After the gathering at my Uncle's house, went to another relative's house (My mum's side relative). Every year, she will cook for the visitors and i loves her foods, she can cook very well. This year, she mention she's tired, so didn't cook much, only curry chicken and soup, which i forgotten to take picture. Since i eat a lot at my Uncle place earlier on, i was not really hungry, so told her, i want a bit only. Had it with bread.

(16) Chinese New Year cookies at her place
Usually, on the 2nd day of Chinese New Year, will go to my 3rd Auntie house, but this year, my 3rd Auntie said Kitchen closed, no lunch, no dinner as she's tired.
Reason being : My 4th Auntie is diagnosis with Breast Cancer and undergo operation, her husband don't bother at all, 4th Auntie eldest daughter need to work, 2nd daughter said seeing those blood, she's scare, youngest daughter just gave birth few months ago. So 4th Auntie temporary shift in to stay with 3rd Auntie while 3rd Auntie take care of her, helping with the dressing, etc, till before Chinese New Year, where 3rd Auntie ask her to go back to her own home. And 3rd Auntie is tired, no time to do spring cleaning, buy new clothes, etc. So this year, Kitchen Closed!!!
(17) On the 3rd day of Chinese New Year, went to my Uncle's (My mum younger brother) place.
(18) My Uncle wife sister-in-law gave her homemade glutinous rice, so we had a simple lunch. After the lunch, my Uncle and his wife came to my place as my mum was not feeling well, so my mum did not go to her Brother place, they came to visit my mum.
