Unhealthy Meal

On Tuesday, Icon workout is Piloxing, J, B and I do not like Piloxing, so we didn't go Icon. J & B (Mother & Daughter) went jalan jalan.  So left me, i end up in Harbourfront workout.  After the workout, i thought i will go Harbourfront Centre Toast Box having a cup of coffee, when the staff told me they are closed.  I was thinking, what, so early closed, ask them, the staff reply their closing time is 7.30pm.  No fate with Toast Box.

The nearest Toast Box is at Vivo City, but i didn't walk to the Toast Box at Vivo City, as usually the Toast Box at Vivo City is crowded, don't think i can get a seat there.

I walk and walk and end up at Long John‘s Silver and was tempted by the Calamari. 

Couldn't resist the temptation, i ordered the 2 pc chickens & 5 pc calamari set @ $5.90.  Hmmm, i was thinking, i will have the calamari and fries, the chicken, i bring back let my mum have it for supper.  But in the end, when i was home, she was sleeping and the 2 pc chickens, have to keep in the fridge for next day to heat up and eat.

I used to go for my workout at a venue on every Tuesday and the instructor is K.  Beginning of this year, they change the day and instructor K is not able to teach there as instructor K has another ongoing class.  Understand that instructor K will be at an event in Vivo Ciy on last weekend, where there is Zumba, her 师傅 is leading the Zumba, she will be shadow-ing and leading in 2 songs, i was there to support support on Sat.

(1) After the Zumba, it's almost dinner time, i don't really feel hungry, only want something light, saw Central, so went to have my dinner there.

(2) Ordered a sandwich with luncheon meat and fried egg @ $3

(3) My mum, who is there to jalan jalan while i was having my workout, had the wanton mee with 4 wanton (Dry) @ $6.50.

(4) Ordered a stocking Milk Tea $2, my mum didn't order as earlier on, she already had her tea break.

西門町 Taiwan Cuisine (3th March)

Had a gathering with cellgroup.  Friend reserve a private room where there are two table.  Total there are 21 of us.  As usual, i have to have a quick snap of the foods when the foods are served as the rest of them, they are not bloggers. 

(1) The venue is at Vivo City 西門町 Taiwan Cuisine

(2) Do not know the name of the dishes as the recipe is with my friend who paid for it. But this is pork, the filling inside is carrot and cucumber.

(3) Soup, which i loves it

(4) Vegetable

(5) When this dish is serve, most of us thought that it is sweet and sour pork, but it turn out to be sweet and sour fish.

(8) Chicken

(9) Fried rice

(10) Tofu

(11) This is an additional order, beef

Saw the bill amount when my friend paid, it's around $588, thanks to the friend for treating the cellgroup dinner.

Central @ Vivo City (29th Oct)

My super old TV set decided to call it a day last Wednesday, my mum actually was asking if the old TV set could be repaired, told her, no point to call in the serviceman to come and waste money in repairing it since it's a very old set of TV, might as well buy a new one.  She was anxious to get a new set of TV, so the next day, we were at the Electrical & Electronics shop in Vivo City to get a new set.

After buying a new one, of course, it's makan time.   The food court at the basement, Kopitiam, has undergo renovation and has reopen, my mum wanted to go and have a look.  We were there and she had her meal there.  But i did not as i find that the foods there nothing to shout about and it don't come cheap also. 

(1) Passed by Central and was tempted by the Rickshaw Noodle as in the menu and decided to give it a try.

(2) As my mum has had her dinner, so she ordered a thick toast with peanut butter and condensed milk.

(3) Kopi

(4) Rickshaw noodle, in which looks different from the menu, the one in the menu looks more attractive.
