Chinese New Year decoration @ Tanjong Katong Complex

I was going for my workout at One-KM last Mon (18th Jan) when i saw the Chinese New Year decoration @ Tanjong Katong Complex, so went to take picture of it.

    Tanjong Katong? I used to go there, 1973 - my friend stayed around there but no complex then. The nearest one would be Katong Shopping Complex in Katong proper.

      Katong Shopping Complex and Tanjong Katong Complex, not very far away...

    Although M'sia malls has more elaborate decor, I think I prefer SG's style. Simple yet straight to the point. Gold nuggets and God of Prosperity, that's what CNY is all about!

    I have lived in a relatives house in Katong once. Very dated area but many expensive bungalows there now.

    I am sure the whole place has developed well today with high rise condos!
