Came across this Veg. Kidney, bought a packet at S$2.50 back to try out.
Bought sliced fish from the wet market previous week at Yu Hwa Market, used it to cook sliced fish soup with reference from Wokking Mum blog. One thing good about cooking it ourselves is that can put in whatever ingredients i like. Beside slice fish, put in lettuce, a small can of mushroom, veg kidney, dumpling bought from the market.
I love clear soup, fish...meat...anything!!!

Hoping over from SK. Not quite likey clear soup somehow need to have some 'colors' in the soup haha. Looks like veg kidney but does not taste like kidney?

I can't recall what's the name of the fish that i use...
I heard the uncle mentioning about after people go for surgery, they will use this kind of fish to cook...
After surgery usually eat sang yu - so maybe it is this fish.
