Charcoal Bun

I have seen charcoal bun selling outside, but it never occur to me to try it out, till i saw this place selling charcoal bun that i went to try it out.


(1) A cup of coffee a day is a must for me


(2) Charcoal Bun with chicken filing

This set cost $4.70

    No taste, like any other bread...supposed to be healthier though. Whatever bread, with filling like that, I want!!!

    Nowadays many places using charcoal buns already.. For burgers, bakery, bread, all got charcoal buns geh.. More healthy, and it's the "in-thing"..

    so how do you find the charcoal bun with chicken filling?? I tried once in Thailand McD, the charcoal bun tastes like just ordinary bun, nothing special..

    There are a lot in Malaysia, even Lavender. Charcoal is good to detox.

    I heard got a lot of fake charcoal buns. Because you cannot really tell the taste apart, many use artificial coloring and claim it is real charcoal bun...

    I have tasted charcoal bun before and it tasted normal except for the colour.

    I ate these black charcoal buns and they tasted a bit different because the bakery purposely added herbs to make them fragrant and healthy.
