The other day my mum went to see Doctor, the Doctor ask her not to eat seafood, meat, and to go vegetarian as she has high cholesterol. Ask what about fish, was told, 1 week once, ok. So I thought I will lookout for vegetarian products in the supermarket.
Vegetarian fish @ $3.25
Vegetarian luncheon meat @ $3.45
My mum loves foods like fried kway teow, fried oyster, mee goreng, etc. Have to control her intake of it.
I hope you can convince your mom to take vegetarian food. I too love all the fried stuffs!
ReplyDeleteHopefully she will take it for her health sake...
DeleteToo much oil. Try to steer away from fried food.
ReplyDeleteEat more vegetables. Some vegetarian stuff is not healthy at all. Look at the ingredients and contents before purchase.
Oh, usually I hardly check the contents, thanks for the advise Rose :)
DeleteI also cannot resist fried food because they taste so good.
ReplyDeleteMe too...

ReplyDeleteOutside meat more than vegetarian, me usually can't resist the temptation...
DeleteJurong West 505 there (fruits stall side near car park) got one shop (near Guardian) sell a variety of vegetarian stuff. Can go check it out since you frequent that area.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info, will check it out when I go there...
DeleteWhat a clever idea to feed her with vegetarian dishes to substitute and bring down her cholesterol level. I eat a lot of oats instead.
