The Original Cake

When Original Cake opens in Westgate, there was a queue, if there is a queue, and if u ask me whether will I be willing to queue for it.  No thank you.


Now that there is no queue, I thought I will get one to try out.


There are two types, original and cheese.  Got the original one @ $10.  It so happen there's a guy behind me, heard him asking which is more popular, the staff reply him, cheese.

I actually ask the staff to cut into half for me as I thought of sharing half with my neighbour, but was told I have to do it myself, they do provide a plastic knife.  If I didn't share with my neighbour, the whole cake will be finish in no time.  That means, I have to work extra hard to go workout.

There's another Ah Ma traditional cake which I have yet to try as I saw queue the other time I pass by Ah Ma traditional cake.

    Over-rated and expensive. It's just egg cake, nothing so special. Every bakery is making their own after the Taiwan one took the country by storm - and some of them can make nicer ones. Still, I wouldn't think it's anything to get excited about.

    Tasted once. Now we have few such establishments. Some said that one is good other said no. I am not so crazy since the one thay I tried wasn't good. Just passed by one shop this morning. Maybe one day I will buy. My mum said it was good.

    Some say good, some say no good. Depends on individual taste. I like but I think it expensive.

    I tried Ah Ma cheese flavor not bad. Quite soft and bouncy. Cheese flavor is better than the original flavor. I like it but a bit pricey so won't eat again.
