(1) Happen to come across this 风城面家 at Sixth Avenue selling wanton noodle, beef brisket noodle from blog. As wanton noodle is one of my favourite, of course must go try it out. The cook is an elderly uncle.
(2) Their opening hours are from 8am to 4pm and closed on every Thursday
(3)Their sambal chilli sauce, you can scoop the amount that you want, thumb up for the sambal chilli sauce.
(4) Order a plate of Wanton Noodle @ $3.50
(5) It comes with 4 wanton, the filling for the wanton are shrimp and meat, which i like it, as for the noodle, ok only.
(6) And a bowl of soup, the soup taste different from other wanton noodle stall that i tried before, the taste is as of those from restaurant selling wanton noodle.
Actually, at first, when reach the place, saw from a coffee shop that's also selling wanton mee, a lot of customers, but the stall is different from what i saw from blog, so walk on to find the one that i wanted to patron. Maybe i should go again one of the day to patron the other stall wanton noodle.

That looks a bit like our pian sip kampua.
ReplyDeleteYa, guess your area, it's called pian sip, our area, it's called wanton...
DeleteGood Afternoon Zumba Queen!
ReplyDeleteYou have not posted anymore Zumba classes. Have you quit? Maybe I should address you as Queen Of Greenery for walking through jungle paths almost daily.
Good morning TM... The weather is hot today... Sweating sweating...
DeleteJust posted 2 pictures yesterday, haha...
I see that Singapore sells a lot of good Wanton noodles! I love them all inside the bowl from noodles to the soup and wanton.
ReplyDeleteSingapore a lot of places selling wanton noodles...
DeleteI love wonton noodles. The ones here they give pickled green chili.
ReplyDeleteHere also have pickled chilli, only that i don't take pickled chilli...
DeleteThe wanton noodle looked rather dry. Not much sauce to it.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the wanton to the noodle...
Delete辣椒酱确实很吸引我啊!
ReplyDeleteI was attracted by it too when i saw it, hehe...
DeleteI am attracted to the sambal chili sauce! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSame here, i am attracted by it when i saw it, hehe...
DeleteHmm, they don't mix the dark soy sauce with the noodles for you. Same like Penang wantan mee then, lazy bum sellers...
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the style of the seller...
DeleteYeah, their style = lazy bum style. The way I see it, they're the noodles expert, tossing the noodles evenly should be their forte, to leave it to customers to potentially deal with uneven sauce on the noodles = lazy bum, plain and simple.
DeleteMight as well serve the sauce on the side... this way at least we won't have to deal with partially bland and partially too salty noodles. :/
If i know, i order the wanton soup as i prefer the wanton more than the noodle...
DeleteIf i 心血来朝,maybe will go try the other stall wanton noodle as walk pass the stall, saw a lot of tables ordering it....
Aiyorr...you are really making me hungry with all these food posts, Sharon. My stomach is going 'kruuk..kRUuukk' liao.
ReplyDeleteNow i am thinking of wanton noodle again, hehe...
