Thaipusam (17th Jan 2014)

Thaipusam is not a declared Public Holiday in Singapore.  It so happen on Thaipusam day, i was on half-day leave to settle some matter, and also went down to take a look at the Thaipusam procession in Little India area.

    i wanted to go to sleep already but then saw your updates, aih, might as well comment first only go to sleep lah..

    oh Thaipusam!! all i can remember about the Thaipusam is the massive traffic jam in KL.. was stuck there for like an hour for a 5-minutes journey~~ :(

    At here, the massive jam will occur at Batu Caves.

    They block one of the lane for Thaipusam procession, so traffic on that day is slow moving...

  8. Massive jam here in Penang during Thaipusam, never been to these events before, transportation is not as good as Singapore's, we need to travel by own our cars :(

  10. I can't bear to watch the devotees being pierced. Love the colourful procession. I used to attend it annually but these days cannot tahan crowds. :P
