Wonder how the name Deng Deng comes about as they stated it's called Deng Deng.
I loves this popiah @ $1.20 very much. If I didn't ask them, I will have thought they sell it only during fasting month, only to realize they do sell it on normal days. Inside, the filling are turnip, egg, tua kwa. And it's freshly made, and that the popiah is quite popular.
I didn't get to buy the otah that I like, maybe this year, they not selling or I am early.
This year I only visited once. Deng deng looks like bak kua.
ReplyDeleteYa, looks like bak kwa...
DeleteOur Hari Raya starts on Sunday. How come yours one day later? Got no moon??
ReplyDeleteI like that Pancake and Kudo Nutella.
I blur liao, as Mon is a Public Holiday, I mistaken it for Mon, spring me, lol
DeleteYes, I do think so too - the deng deng looks like bak kua.
