Hong Wen Mutton Soup

A few friends have been singing praises about this Mutton Soup stall at Beauty World, although i have been to Beauty World, but have not tried this stall Mutton Soup. So after the Wallace Trail Walk, friend and me went Beauty World to makan and i try out this Mutton Soup.


(1) It's situated at the 4th storey of Beauty World


(2) The chilli sauce


(3) A bowl of rice @ $0.50


(4) Mutton soup @ $5.00, I like the mutton soup, will return to eat it if in the vicinity.

The opening hours are as follows :
Monday : 11am to 4pm
Tuesday to Sunday : 11am to 8pm

    Hmm... rarely seen people do mutton soup except for the Malays with their heavily spiced Sup Kambing.

      You are right, over here, i also hardly see chinese mutton soup, and almost most of the place, i will see Sup Kambing...

    Oh, does it taste like beef soup? So far, I've only had the Indian sup kambing - usually very oily, lots of those spices that some people will say are smelly. I do not mind those if they are not too strong. Eat with French loaf.

      I not into beef, so can't tell you if it taste like beef soup...

      To me, i don't find smelly...

    We usually eat beef soup. I can't remember eating any mutton soup before except those from my office canteen or from Malay stalls.

    Nancy is right, no mutton soup sold outside except for malay stalls, but we love beef soup... especially the tendons..
