I was in the vicinity when i saw quite a number of people standing in the pathway, being a busybody, i went to join in and see what's going on.
(1) The guy in the front will make some noise indicating their presence
(2) The guy behind carry a statue of (not too sure what God is that)
(3) The monk behind collecting ang pao (saw those people putting in ang pao into the bowl)
(4) Saw these monk drawing water
(5) Then they pour the water into the tree behind
(6) I can only take a quick snap from a distance as people passing through
Quick quick.. and snap, Sharon! hahahaa... You are very good, always think of taking pictures... sometimes I forget.. after some happening, then only I thought of the snapping..

ReplyDeleteSo you saw a Wesak Day ceremony. I wonder if they were Thais or Myanmar people. The sarong the men wore could be from Myanmar, Laos or Cambodia.
