Funeral of Mr Lee Kuan Yew

Suituapui was asking me if i attended the funeral of the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.  Newspapers, website, etc.  has the route in which the cortege will passed by for the State Funeral in University Cultural Centre.

I did not arrived early as i went to Church in the morning.  Usually i do not have the habit to check the weather forecast about the weather.  When i arrived at 12.30pm, it was raining very heavy, with me is only an umbrella and i did not bring raincoat.


There were already many people there, but i manage to stand in one spot and catch the last glimpse of the cortege pass-by.

      Some even earlier, have friends waiting in other locations, they mention they were there since 10.30am in the morning...

    yeah, i was watching live telecast and it was raining so heavily.. people were still standing there with their umbrellas and raincoat..

    I went together with my husband and my son as well, near bukit merah housing estate there..
    The rain was so heavy... my heart felt so heavy as well.

    That day the skies and people cried on his funeral. So sad. He was such a nice and good man with smart ideas!

    The heavy rain did not stop Singaporean from coming out to pay their last respect and send off a great man.

    I was away and missed attending his funeral. Can only watch the video of it when I'm back.
