The "black horns" are known as bat nuts or water caltrop... always have them for Mooncake Festival..enjoy your festival this weekend!

ReplyDeleteSeeing all these lovely photos make me remember all the mooncake festivals I celebrated as a child eating water caltrops, mooncakes, pomelos under the moon at night and playing with candles and lanterns. Now no longer celebrating as no young children around.

Hello dear.. Am back.. In a good mood today so I blog visit today lor.. I not yet bring the kids out to the mall to let them see the decorations and lantern and all.. Both kids were down with fever last week.. Haih, sick every month, I also heart pain..
