Qing Ming is approaching, went to Choa Chu Kang Columbarium to 拜 my father.

This bus service 405 from Boon Lay Bus Interchange that goes to Old Choa Chu Kang Road only operates on the following days :
(1) Qing Ming - actual day and 2 weekends (Sat/Sun) before and after Qing Ming
(2) Good Friday
(3) First Ramadan/Hari Raya Puasa/Hari Raya Haji - actual day
(4) Deepavali - actual day ad the weekend (Sat/Sun) before Deepavali
(5) All Souls's day
Went there on 23rd Mar and the bus stop along the road there, luckily there's no traffic jam.

Ching Ming is coming Thursday 4/4 this year.. and yeah very wise of you to go there on the weekend of 23/3..
ReplyDeletei went to two places for for my grandparents and mum respectively yesterday.. it was so crowded and the traffic was so bad.. went out 8am and reach home 3pm..
ReplyDeleteand this Columbarium is very well maintained and i guess the praying and offering gets easier.. unlike those old style cemetery i went, the ancestors grave were not well planned, so it was rather challenging for us..

Same over here in Singapore, nearer the day, will be very crowded and bad traffic...
Here the older cemetery, also not well planned...
The newer one are quite are quite neat and in rows...
