Have been stress up yesterday and today will be a busy day.  Wanted to do some updating, but don't think have the time.  And don't think I have the time to blog hop too for the time being.  Hopefully will be able to blog hop and update my blog soon.  Finger cross.

Sunday Routine

Bump into an Uncle while waiting for the transport to Church, he also goes to the Church.  Ask him how come he's not going last Sunday, he replied he's going to the Zone 3 RC Senior Friendship where there is free breakfast to eat.  Ask me if I want to bring my mum go eat.  No lah, we going Church.

Refreshment for the Sunday after service, bread with curry potato filling.

Carrot Cake

As usual, after Service, my mum wants to go Seah Im Food Centre for lunch.  She saw a stall selling Phad Thai and she wants that. $3.  If with beef, will be $4.50, but my mum not into beef.

I had Soto Ayam @ $3, add a bergadil @ $0.50, total is $3.50.

Then we went Harbourfront walk one round and my mum tea break time.  She wants Pandan Swiss Roll @ $1.50.

Since earlier at Church, already had coffee, so ordered 1 cup to share.

Passed by the Food Court, saw a board promoting carcocal toast @ $1.20, ordered a piece to tried.  Nothing to shout about.

After that, we went back.  Rest for a while when it started to rain at 4 plus, was thinking do not know whether the Sundays at the Park workout will continue.  So I thought I will get change, walk and take a look.  If have, I will go for the workout, if cancelled, I walk home.  Phew, it was on, at the sheltered area.

Yee Mee

I like Yee Mee, but as my mum not into noodle, so I never cooked it.  If i were to eat it, it's from outside.  This plate of Yee Mee is from the Zi Char stall, @ $4.50.  Comes with some vegetable, fish cake, lean meat and 2 prawns.

Find that the Yee Mee is a bit too much and the ingredients only a bit.

Same routine, my mum went for the Friday Breakfast Session at PPH CSC.

Milo

As usual, the same old food, Bee Hoon with Kway Teow, fried egg, half fried Butterfly Bun.

Porridge

After the Breakfast Session, went back and did some housework and do a bit of cooking, then bring my mum down at around 12 plus to PPH CSC again for a cup of Milo and we went there till around 2pm.  Came back and my mum had her lunch.  Then at around 4pm, made 2 leaf bun sandwich with luncheon meat for her.  At around 5 plus, she ask me to bring her downstairs again.

This round, she had Tosai @ $1.30.  Then she ask me to order plain rice for her.  As I have cook extra rice earlier on, as thought of frying rice the next day, so I told her, I have rice at home. We don't order rice, we go back and eat.  When back, she change her mind, she wanted leaf bun, so steam 2 for her sandwich with luncheon meat.

Is this consider over eating for an elderly?

Then when I thought that I will go for the workout at my neighborhood park at 7.30pm, there came a WhatsApp message that the session was cancelled as the Instructor was not feeling well.

Social Worker 3rd Visit

The Social Worker came to visit my mum for the 3rd time yesterday (22nd May).  This round, he's here to chit chat with my mum.  The other time he came, I ask him if he has any loose adult diaper and I explained to him I do not want to buy just in case my mum do not want to wear.  In the first place, he mention he want to bring a pack.  Told him, no lah, just 1 or 2 piece will do. He managed to find loose piece and brought a piece.  Now is to persuade my mum to try wearing the adult diaper if she were to go out.

Coffee @ Curry Times

If I goes to Mapletree Business City for my weekly Zumba, usually I will go to the Curry Times at Alexandra Retail Centre which is nearby for a quick coffee before walking over to Mapletree Business City for the Zumba session. $1.40 for a cup of coffee. I quite like the coffee there.

They even have free ice gem cookies for customers to scoop and eat.

Sunday

As usual, my mum would want to go and wait for the transport at 7.30am which the transport will come at 8.30am to go church.  I was in a little rush and i forgot to check on her, phew, she did not soil on Sunday.

Guess it's Mother's Day on Sunday, usually the transport to the Church, it was not full.  But on Sunday, the transport was full.  And some are not regulars who goes every Sunday.  Some come, on and off.

After service, the refreshment for that day is Bee Hoon with long bean, otah and a small piece of which they said is fried prawn roll, but to me, taste more like ngoh hiang to me.

A lady saw me taking picture, ask me, this also have to take picture, reply i write blog.  The lady reply, so free.  I kept quiet.  Aiyo, must be so free then can write blog meh. 

As usual, my mum wanted to go Seah Im Food Centre for lunch, i have wanted to eat the Chicken Rice from one of the stall there.  Ordered the Chicken Rice with sambal @$4, which i find that the sambal is not spicy at all.  I should have ordered the Ayam Penyet @ $5, which i think that will be more worth the price.

Then we went Harbourfront walk one round and my mum wanted to have coffee and bread.  They do have set which comes with Coffee, Soft-boiled egg, and bread, but my mum do not want the egg, so ordered ala-crate. Ordered a large cup of coffee @ $2.40 to share.

After that, went back to rest, before going for the 5pm session Sundays at the Park.

My mum

I mentioned in an earlier post about the incident at the church and the staffs from PPH CSC came to visit my mum and also to check whether if it's ok to refer my mum to the Social Worker.   They need to get our consent before they can refer her to the Social Worker.

Two Social Worker came to visit my mum on 5th May (First visit) to do a screening test for my mum.  They managed to get a Specialist from a Hospital to come yesterday (17th May) to do further assessment for my mum.  They will refer her to the Specialist at the Hospital and now is waiting for the call.

Nowadays, I feel very tired, my mum now, she can't control her bowel and if she's do her business, I have to do the cleaning up.  When she wants to bath, she will just said, I want to bath, then stand at the bathroom, I have to tell her, use the soap to rub on her hand, her body, her legs and her back, I will rub for her.  After shower, have to tell her, wipe dry with the towel.  As for clothing, buttoning, she has problem, if we to let her button on her own, it will be unbalanced.  If I were to continue, will be long winded story.

My mum received a call from the Manager of PPH CSC asking her to go collect cake.  When she was there, she heard that only 60 residents are entitled to the cake as there are only 60 sets of Cheesecake.

Breakfast @ PPH

My mum bump into an Uncle a day before the PPH CSC Breakfast on Friday, he told her maybe Mother's Day, there will be more foods.  My mum ask him if he is going, he reply he will be going.

On Friday, my mum went for the Breakfast Session, at first the machine for the drink is not in order, but there's a pot there for coffee, so it's coffee for the morning.

Beside the usual bee hoon, mee, egg, they have extra liao for the day, chap chai prepared by one of the PPH staff, half chicken wing, otah. Heard that the foods for that day is from a catering company.

As it's Mother's Day, all Mother's got a gift from PPH CSC.

Red Residue Chicken Mee Sua

Am in the vicinity of Tanjong Pagar again.

The stall that i eat the Fried Fish Dumpling Hor Fun the other time, they do sell Red Residue Chicken Mee Sua, this round, i had it.  They have the $4 or $5, ordered the $4.

After clearing Malaysia Immigration, C pick me up at the pick-up point.  Suppose to go to another café which is further away, since I was late, and M last min has something to attend to, we didn't have much time, so in the end, we end up in Coffee Signature.

As we are celebrating M birthday (actually it's over, her birthday is on 17th April, we are celebrating belated), we ordered 2 pieces of cakes for her.  Salted Caramel Cheese and Matcha Cake.

Before leaving, I decided to pay a visit to the ladies, while out from the ladies, saw a rabbit.

C drop me at the usual place, i went to walk one round in City Square, before going back Singapore.  While on the way back, saw that the Incoming Malaysia Immigration is still Mountain People Mountain Sea, while the outgoing, very smooth.

Chee Cheong Fun with Pumpkin Kueh

I have something in mind to eat at Ghim Moh Food Centre and at the same time do some marketing.  But the stall that I wanted to patron was not opened.

While walking round to check on the foods, some stalls were quite crowded, maybe due to the Public Holiday.  Finally settle at the above stall.  The stall sell porridge, chee cheong fun, dumpling, yam kueh, pumpkin kueh, etc.

I go for the chee cheong fun with pumpkin kueh, they have $2.50, $3.  At first, I wanted to order $2.50, but I was thinking, dunno will it be too little as I have not ordered from this stall before.  So I go for the $3.  Turn out a bit too much for me.  But luckily, earlier in the morning, I only took a bit of fruits and a cup of milk.  So managed to finish it.

Not a good start

I set my alarm on Sunday to 6am, actually I can wake up later, as the transport to the Church is at 8.30am.

At first, my mum said do not want to go church, after eating her breakfast, she went to lie down.  So I thought I go take shower first before asking her again.  While taking my shower, I sense she was outside, so I had a quick shower and true enough, she was outside and oh gosh, she soils again.  No prize for guessing who has to do the clearing up.

Wash up for her and ask her to get change and we go church, she was ok this round. 

The cat that I saw on Friday was there again

Not too sure what's the occasion, this round, the refreshment, had noodle with a piece of fried carrot cake, seaweed chicken roll.

As usual, my mum wanted to go Seah Im Food Centre for lunch, actually I had something in mind to eat, but earlier on, at Church had some noodles already, as my mum wanted Prawn Bee Hoon Mee, so I ordered the $4 and if she can't finish, I can eat the reminding.  True enough, she left a bit, so I finish up the remaining.

In the meantime, I ordered a ABC juice @ $2.50

My mum wanted Indian Rojak, ordered tau kwa, potato, sausage, egg coated with flour, total : $3.60.
