Mandai Park Connector to Singapore Zoo

After walking the Ulu Sembawang Park Connector, saw the Mandai Park Connector.

(1) Since it's not far away from Singapore Zoo, it's walking time!!! 

(2) Pass by

(3) Take around 35 minutes to reach Singapore Zoo

(4) No regrets to walk to the Zoo, will regrets if don't walk there, so walk around and took pictures of the surrounding.

(10) At first, from a distance, i thought they will make dustbin in the form of animal, but the above is a donation box.

Ulu Sembawang Park Connector

A friend of mine, who have been saiding wanted to do exercise, but have been hearing the friend keeps saiding "no time", finally has the "time" to do some walking.  Main motive is to walk the Ulu Sembawang Park Connector.

(1) Started at Singapore Sports School which is the Woodlands Park Connector (SLE) Park Connector.

(2) The path

(3) Above will be expressway

(4) PCN which stands for Park Connector

(5) After walking a bit of time, manage to see the expressway

(6) Plants

(7) Flowers that grows out of the tree

(8) After walking for about 25 minutes, reached Ulu Sembawang Park Connector.

(17) Seeing the above makes me think of Nature Reserve

(18) Total around 25 minutes taken to walk the Ulu Sembawang Park Connector 

(19) Total timing i took to walk the Woodlands (SLE) Park Connector and Ulu Sembawang Park Connector is about 50 minutes.

Little India

Saw from newspaper the Light Up Ceremony at Little India for Deepavali, so assume that the Bazzar has started.

(6) So happen to see a filming going on

(10) I was wrong, the bazaar had not started

(11) Resting time, had a sugee cookie and a cup of coffee, coffee is $1, and sugee cookie is $0.60, and since i had a heavy breakfast cum lunch which is the $4.00 prawn noodle, and this "tea" break, so my dinner is just a piece of bread.

545 Whampoa Prawn Noodles

(1) Haave been wanting to try this stall Prawn Noodles, but the place is quite a distance away, since wwas going Little India, went to try out the Prawn Noodles.

(2) They have $3, $4, the weather was cooling and beside i didn't take my breakfast, so i ordered the $4 kway teow mee, my breakfast cum lunch.  Had the dry version,  comes with sliced lean meat, 5 pieces of half sliced prawn and a bowl of soup.

Opening hours is from 6.30am to 2pm (While stock last)

The Green Corridor (Along Woodlands Road)

(1) After ending my walk at Pang Sua Park Connector, passed by Pang Sua Canal along Stagmont Ring.

(2) Then i "hit" The Green Corridor

(3) On my left is some HDB flats

(4) On my right is greenery

(5) A tall tree

(6) The path

(7) After walking for a while, heard some music and then reached a Hindu Temple and that ends my walk, decided not to walk further to see where it ends.
