Lunch at Chinatown

After meetup with Felvin at Changi Airport, we went to the Hotel (I didn't take picture of the Hotel) that Felvin has book and put her luggage there before we went out.

I have whatsapp with Felvin before she's due to arrive in Singapore, asking her any places in Singapore she has in mind to visit. She replied that she leave it to me to bring her.  I suggested to her Gardens by the Bay as Marina Bay Sands is nearby and that it's within walking distance to Esplanade too.

But as Felvin has not taken her lunch, we changed our plan from going to Gardens by the Bay to Chinatown.  We went to the Chinatown Complex Food Centre, she asked me what's nice there, told her that there's a Soy Sauce Chicken noodles which has a long queue, when we were there, the queue is long, we didn't queue.

We pass by this stall selling dumpling, xiao long bao, noodles, etc. and Felvin decided to give it a try.

Felvin had the Beef noodle ($4)

Since i had taken my lunch at the airport earlier on, i ordered Xiao Long Bao ($5) to share.

Felvin has whatsapp me a day earlier before she's arriving in Singapore that she's bringing me 4 of her mum's homemade rice dumpling.

Had it for breakfast

Ingredients for the rice dumpling, dried mushroom, meat, chestnut, dried shrimp, dried oyster.

She also brought along with her her home grown mango

Like what she describe, the mango is very sweet
