Day 1 of CNY (19th Feb)

After my grandparents passed away, every year, during the 1st day of CNY, we will have a gathering at my Uncle's (my father eldest brother) house.


My uncle usually will call for catering as we have a large family members, this year, he called for a Malay catering company, don't ask me why, i didn't ask he why.


Pig intestine cooked by my 3rd Aunty which is well received by our family members.

Not forgetting Loi Hei

After that, visited another of my relative (My mum's side).


Chinese New Year cookies


Every year, my relative will cook for guests who comes to visit her.  I always enjoy her foods as she can cook very well.  This curry chicken is prepared by her, and even her grandson praised her for the yummy curry chicken.

Pie tie, the case is bought from outside, the ingredient is prepared by her daughter-in-law.

  12. Sharon, I may like Malay food but not for CNY. I like yee san dish very much but not the raw fish. I love pie tee, the soup and of course the veg. Gong Xi Fa Cai to you.
