Wedding Lunch @ Pan Pacific (26th October 2014)

Attended the wedding lunch of a relative at Pan Pacific.  It's an 8 course lunch.



Combination of Deluxe Appetisers - Suckling Pig, Pacific Clams Thai Style, Marinated Jellyfish, Japanese Mini Octopus & Soya Sauce Chicken.


Braised Shark's Fin Soup with Crabmeat & Crab Roe


Wok-Fried Prawns with Celery & Honey Beans in Chef's XO Sauce served in Home-made Basket with Deep-fried Silver-threaded Yam Roll.


Steamed Sea Perch Fillet with Minced Garlic in Superior Soya Sauce


Braised "Pipa" Duck served with Special Barbecue Sauce


Braised Baby Abolone and Fragrant Mushrooms in Superior Oyster Sauce on Seasonal Vegetables.


Wok-fried Udon Noodles with Seafood & Silver Bean Sprouts


Chilled Cream of Mango Sago with Pomelo

  2. I always like the first and the last dish, ie the platter (since I can try a bit if everything) and the dessert (since I have sweet tooth).. :p

  3. Very high class looking place and of course dishes.. During wedding dinners, I like and veey look forward to the first and second dish.. Sometimes cant wait for the rice and dessert coz we have to leave as the kids get restless..

  4. Sharks' fins!!! Most people here would opt not to have that these days. Herbal black chicken with dried scallop soup is the usual served at such banquets.

    Pan Pac! Must have cost a bomb!

  15. I remember KL also have Pan Pacific hotel, my secondary school lembaga the majlis perpisahan was held at there!! Wow, that was so long long time ago, hehe!!!
