Getai @ West Coast Car Mart (4th Aug 2011)

As now is Lunar 7th month, everyday there's 歌台 everywhere in different part of Singapore. One of the 歌台 that i have watch is at West Coast Car Mart.

Heard that they change host every year, last year the host is 刘玲玲, this year the host is 王雷 and 刘玲玲 sister 刘心玲. This is the first time that 刘心玲 host, find that her hosting is not bad.

I wanted to make marble cake, but the cake i baked turn out like that, wonder can it still be call marble cake?

南乳排骨

Saw in facebook 键轩惠娘 cook this dish, i was so tempted to cook it and as her recipe is in chinese, some of the ingredients i'm not too sure, so ask her to translate in english, and went to the supermarket to get those ingredients that i do not have. Thanks to 键轩惠娘 for translating the recipe into english and sharing the recipe.

蛋黄虾

The other time, i cooked 蛋黄鸡, then 蛋黄 Sotong, this round is 蛋黄虾. At first i wanted to cook with the shell on, but when i went to the bookstore and browse through a cookery book, i happen to see this 蛋黄虾 recipe and it is without the shell, i roughly roughly try to remember the recipe a bit and then go back to recall the recipe and cook it.

Soya Chawan Mushi

Chawan Mushi is one of the dish which i like to order when i go to eat at Japanese Restaurant. The other day, i was craving for it when i think of the Soya Chawan Mushi that i saw in Ai Wei blog. And as i have not try with soya milk before, so i thought i will give it a try. Beside mushrooms, i have add in prawn and crabstick also, but it's hidden below.

Chocolate Cake

Saw this Chocolate Cake from Sally blog, i was so tempted to do, but i didn't buy the mould as the one Sally have as i hardly bake and i use half of the recipe to do it.

宫保鸡丁

宫保鸡丁 is a dish which i like, when i saw Sonia 宫保鸡丁, i thought i will give it a try as i never try it out with peanut, normally i eat it is with cashew nuts.
