Day 1 : Changi Airport ===> Shenzhen (26th Apr)

Went on a 5 day holiday to Shenzhen from 26th ~ 30th Apr. After check in at Changi Airport, went to walk around while waiting to board the flight. Journey from Singapore to Shenzhen takes about 3 hour 50 minutes.

About The Art

The home is synonymous with warmth and safety. It is a refuge and sheltering harbour. This piece of sculpture utleq "Coming Home" represents a family of three. The father figure is dark bronze with speckles of dark green patination; the mother figure is lighter bronze while the child figure is golden.

Singapore Changi Airport is a key passenger hub. People from all over the world pass through this airport to transit to another country. Singapore and the airport serve as a haven for these travellers to rest and take shelter on their way home.

"Coming Home" hence portrays the universal aspiration of making the whole world as one big family.
