风城面家

(1) Happen to come across this 风城面家 at Sixth Avenue selling wanton noodle, beef brisket noodle from blog.  As wanton noodle is one of my favourite, of course must go try it out.  The cook is an elderly uncle.

(2) Their opening hours are from 8am to 4pm and closed on every Thursday

(3)Their sambal chilli sauce, you can scoop the amount that you want, thumb up for the sambal chilli sauce.

(4) Order a plate of Wanton Noodle @ $3.50

(5) It comes with 4 wanton, the filling for the wanton are shrimp and meat, which i like it, as for the noodle, ok only.

(6) And a bowl of soup, the soup taste different from other wanton noodle stall that i tried before, the taste is as of those from restaurant selling wanton noodle.

Actually, at first, when reach the place, saw from a coffee shop that's also selling wanton mee, a lot of customers, but the stall is different from what i saw from blog, so walk on to find the one that i wanted to patron.  Maybe i should go again one of the day to patron the other stall wanton noodle.

Address :
Kopitown Coffeeshop

You have not posted anymore Zumba classes. Have you quit? Maybe I should address you as Queen Of Greenery for walking through jungle paths almost daily.

  5. The wanton noodle looked rather dry. Not much sauce to it.

  7. Hmm, they don't mix the dark soy sauce with the noodles for you. Same like Penang wantan mee then, lazy bum sellers...

    1. Yeah, their style = lazy bum style. The way I see it, they're the noodles expert, tossing the noodles evenly should be their forte, to leave it to customers to potentially deal with uneven sauce on the noodles = lazy bum, plain and simple.

Might as well serve the sauce on the side... this way at least we won't have to deal with partially bland and partially too salty noodles. :/
