Tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew

After seeing Claire off at the Causeway Link bus station in Jurong East, i walk over to the Community Tribute Pavilion which is set up near JCube to pay Tribute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew who passed away on 23rd March 2015 at 3.18am at the age of 91 years old.


There are signs around to inform us of the location

There are numbers on the floor and the ushers will usher us to the available slots for us to pay tribute.

There's a big screen showing our Prime Minister Mr Lee Hsien Loong being interviewed about the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew.


On the side, there are pictures showing about Mr Lee Kuan Yew during the earlier years.


For the public to pen down what they have for Mr Lee Kuan Yew

  3. I was watching live yesterday and it was raining so heavily!! the sky was crying for the demise of a great person of the era.. I enjoyed listening to the eulogy by your PM..

    1. Even the rain was so heavy, there's many people waiting at various locations where the cortege will past by to pay their last respect to him...

  4. Mr Lee Kuan Yew was a great man and he dedicated his life to make Singapore what it is today. I admire him and was sad at his passing. May he rest in peace.

  5. he was a good leader. Can see from so many people willing to queue up for 8-10 hours just to pay him last visit

    1. Actually at first, Parliament House was opened from 10am to 8pm for public to pay him last visit, but so many people turned up, they opened round the round...

  9. Farewell to the great man! Glad I also managed to pay respect to him at the parliament house.
    Ok... on the other hand, glad the mourning is over as I am sort of 'overdose' with his stories on tv, radio and facebook. Don't get me wrong , I respect him but sometimes too much sadness is no good for us too.

    3. I have the same thinking as you, on the radio, switch on the TV, open facebook, newspaper, all the news on him...

      I find should have some "break" in between...

      Even my friend was mentioning, the daughter wanted to watch her usual cartoon, but on the tv, it's about Mr LKY...

  11. LKY's passing really moved and saddened many Malaysians. We respect him a lot and wished he could turn my country to become like your republic.
