See Doctor

Picture taken from website.

Nowadays, my mum has this problem of not passing motion for few days.  And also she doesn't like to see doctor.  So I have to be the "patient", see doctor on her behalf.  I bring along her Identify Card and Pioneer Generation Card to the doctor.

Picture taken from website.

On 2nd Aug, the doctor prescribed a bottle of dhactulose syrup for my mum.  No payment that day.

On 16th Aug, same problem, doctor prescribed a bottle of dhactulose syrup for my mum.  This round, also no payment .

On 31st Aug, same problem, this round, the doctor prescribed 2 bottle of dhactulose syrup for my mum.  This round, I paid $13.

I was curious, previous 2 times, she doesn't have to pay, how come this round, she has to pay.  Or has she used up the subsidy capped for this year.  I decided to call up Chas to find out.

Picture taken from website.

The officer gave me the breakdown of the claims history.  As my mum is seeing the doctor for chronic condition, there is still balance for this year and I was told the unused balance, can't bring forward to next year, next year will be a new balance.

As for the pass motion problem, it's under common illness which will be $28.50 subsidy per visit, subject to maximum 4 visit for the month.

I overlooked and did not read on it, but now at least I have a clearer picture of it.  As those visits which I do not have to pay for it, receipt was not issue. This round, I made payment, receipt was given.  Saw that the consultation fee is $27 (my mum is seeing a General Practitioner), 2 bottle of dhactulose syrup cost $12, plus GST, it's $41.23.  Minus off the $28.50, and the rounding up of $0.23, so have to pay $13.  So to said each bottle of dhactulose syrup cost $6.

What I was told :

On 2th Aug, the claim was $28.50 (with 1 bottle of dhactulose syrup)

On 26th Aug, the claim was $28.50 (with 1 bottle of dhactulose syrup)

Still figuring out the amount paid on 31st Aug.  Think I will go ask the clinic when my mum finish her chronic condition medicine in October.  Hopefully she can pass motion on her own instead of relying on the dhactulose syrup.

Random Post

28th August

As for the incident on Sunday (27th Aug) in Church between Auntie Mary and Auntie Alice, I do not know exactly what happen and also do not know how to help Auntie Mary.

So I thought I will go PPHCSC and talk to the staff.  Talk to one of the staff, James and after discussing with his superior Ms Rosalind and Mr Lawrence and another staff Mee Huan, James and Mee Huan visited Auntie Mary.

Auntie Mary called me, since we stay nearby, told her why not we meet at the market to chat instead of over the phone.  She told me James and Mee Huan visited her.  She will go Church, she will go English service instead of Chinese service.

And then tell me not to talk too much to Auntie Lee as Auntie Lee and Auntie Alice are good friends.  And Auntie Lee went with Auntie Alice to Church before. In future, she won't go West Coast (they went together once after Sunday service) anymore with Auntie Lee.

29th August

I went PPHCSC again wanted to talk to James about it, but James was on leave.  Mee Huan is there, so mention to her about what Auntie Mary mention.  She reply that Auntie Lee follow the transport to Church and came for the Friday breakfast, that's where everyone got to know Auntie Lee.

In the afternoon, Auntie Lee came to listen to others sang at the Karaoke.  Auntie Mary came too.  They did talk to each other.  Hope everything turns out well.

Sunday (27th August)

While waiting for the transport, was chatting with Auntie Lee and Auntie Mary, Auntie Mary mention she will be going Church every Sunday.  She then mention she will be going Chinese Service as she doesn't know anyone in the English Service.  She sat with Auntie Lee and Auntie Alice in the last row while I sat with my mum in the middle row.  Usually when the service is about to end, my mum will leave early and we will proceed to the refreshment area.  Just as we were about to leave, saw Auntie Lee and Auntie Mary also leaving, but they went to the ladies first.

In the refreshment area, Auntie Mary came up to me and mention to me Auntie Alice, heart pain, she won't go Church anymore.  What happen between them, I do not know.  Then Auntie Mary said she's leaving, going west Coast for lunch.  Ask her to stay longer to chat, but she doesn't want and walk off.

Then came Auntie Lee, who mention Auntie Mary walk off and didn't wait for her after coming out of the toilet, she not sure what happen between Auntie Mary and Auntie Alice.

I eat this before, but can't remember what is the name of it.

The first time I went for the Zumba at West Coast, after the workout, I pass by the coffeeshop and saw a stall selling Lor Mee, I thought I will come again another round since I eat something else the other round.

The stall used to be another famous Lor Mee from Bt. Purmei, if I am not wrong, due to the stall owner health, the stall closed down.  Now change hand to Sheng Yi Fa Lor Mee.

A bowl cost $4.  I like the ingredients but find the gravy a bit diluted.
