Aunty Lucy at Esplanade Station

Aunty Lucy（周崇庆反串） first appearance was in 综艺节目Milan and Paris. From there, "she" 一炮而红 and was quite well-known. Recently, with the opening of the SMRT new stretch of Circle Line 11 stations on 17th April, SMRT organize some program at it's Esplanade station on 24th April and Aunty Lucy made her appearance there.

Before Aunty Lucy appear, there's a line dance performance and it so happen that Aunty Lucy appear just when the performance was about to end and Aunty Lucy was asked to join in to dance.

爱与你有约

There's this Taiwan 长寿戏 ‘爱’ which is presently shown in Singapore on every weekend from 7pm ~ 10pm and in mandarin. Wonder is the show shown in Malaysia? As there's a 演唱会 by some of the ‘爱’ actor and actress on 1st May, these two actor 陈宇风 and 宋逸民 were in Singapore to promote the 演唱会.

Host for that day is 曾晓英, she a DJ from Love 972

签名会的时候

On Monday, went to watch movie and happen to bump into an ex neighbour who used to stay few block away from me and he is a married man (around 50 plus) with a son. He was there to watch movie with a lady (looks around 20 plus). I was surprised to see him with the lady and was curious how come he is not there with his wife but another lady, 难道他....? Luckily didn't watch the same movie with him, if not, it will be so malu....

T.G.I. Friday's

The other day, was arranging with friend to meetup for dinner and friend was mentioning wanted to eat western food. Was asking friend whether friend have tried T.G.I. Friday's and friend have not tried before, since we have not tried before, so we arrange to meet at Heeren for dinner at T.G.I. Friday's.

Friend ordered a chicken set

While browsing through the menu, i can't make up my mind what to eat as i was worry that the portion will be very big. The waiter recommended Fish and Chips and when served, find that the portion is a bit big that i have to share some with friend.

Steamed Minced Pork

This steamed Minced Pork is one of my favourite dish, whenever i eat from the mixed vegetable stall and they sell this dish, i will order it.

Saw from Anncoo blog this Steamed Minced Pork with Dong Cai, so i thought i will make it myself. I also added in prawns and canned braised peanuts.

LJ son Birthday Cake

Last Saturday, after visit friend baby girl, arrange with LJ to meet her at Chinatown as she's having back pain and wanna go there for a massage. After the massage, while on the way to her house, bought a cake for her son as her son birthday is around the corner.

Mua Chi

Mua Chi is one of my favourite food and have not eat it for quite some time and have been craving for it, saw the recipe from Ohbin blog, so i thought i try it out.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Baking of Chocolate Chips Cookies with recipe from Do What I Like

I also make another set and add in cocoa powder

Ingredients:
220g butter
60g brown sugar
80g - 100g caster sugar
0.5 tsp salt
2.5tsp vanilla essence
2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
400g plain flour
1.25 tsp baking soda
150g - 200g semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method:
1. Cream butter, sugar, salt and vanilla essence till light and fluffy.
2. Add in 1/3 of the egg and beat till well mixed before the next addition.
3. Sieve in the flour and baking soda. Stir in the chocolate chips.
4. Mould cookies either using a tablespoon or cookie scoop on lined tray.
5. Bake at 180C for 15 - 20 minutes.

I used half of the recipe and yields 31 cookies

姑姑 Birthday Treat

姑姑 birthday is in April, as 姑姑千交代，万交代 don't buy any present for her, so i told her that i will give her a treat.

Friend Baby Girl

My friend gave birth to a baby girl last Thursday (8th Apr), today went to my friend house to visit friend baby girl.

Meetup with Kikey ~ 20th Mar

Kikey came to Singapore for holiday on 20th Mar, as she was in JB for holiday before coming to Singapore, we arrange to meet at the Woodlands Checkpoint.

After meeting up with Kikey, we went over to Ah Hoon prawns mee stall at Bukit Timah area. Thanks to Ah Hoon for the treat.

After the meetup with Ah Hoon, Kikey check in at her hostel and after that we went to 佛光山 which is located at Punggol.

We had afternoon tea there

After the afternoon tea, we went to the 炒经堂 and we 抄 a small piece of 经 there.

After the visit to 佛光山, we took the MRT to Dhoby Ghaut station and walk the stretch of Orchard Road.

After Orchard Road, wanted to bring Kikey to eat crabs at Ang Mo Kio, upon reaching there, we saw that there's a long ‘Q', in the end, we went to the other coffeeshop to settle our dinner and then it's Home Sweet Home.
